Three paths to your next build
- Manual: Choose an enclosure, motherboard, CPU, cooler, RAM, PSU, drives, HBA, cables, network card and operating system.
- Automatic: Specify budget, capacity, drives now and later, workload, network and preferences for ECC, power and noise.
- Reuse: Enter existing hardware and identify what needs upgrading to meet new requirements.
Plan for the next expansion
From 4 to 8, 12 or 24 drives: the engine will assess bays, ports, PCIe resources, cables, backplanes, spin-up power, cooling, storage strategy and operating system limitations.
Prices and retailers – a later phase
Product and retailer comparison comes after the core configurator. The plan is shopping lists across one, two or three stores, including relevant shipping and import costs, using permitted feeds, APIs and agreements.
